iOS 14.5 Beta 5: Apple keeps developers happy with latest update!

Apple released the fifth iOS 14.5 developer beta on Tuesday, Mar. 23. The update comes eight days after the company released 14.5 beta 4 for public testers and developers.

Apple released this update just past 10 a.m. PDT, the company’s standard release time for developer updates. The update is only available for registered iOS developers, but if you’re running the public beta on your iPhone, iOS 14.5 public beta 5 became available at 1 p.m. PDT.

Not much is new to beta 5. A new Apple Music sharing prompt shows up, but it also shows up in the latest stable versions of iOS now. 5G Standalone mode for T-Mobile users has been removed for some reason. You can now turn on or disable “Auto-Brightness” with Siri.

The previous update, beta 4, alluded to upcoming “City Charts” playlists in Apple Music that would compile the most popular songs in different areas around the world.
