After a short wait and a bit of confusion, the all-new Google Pixel 9a is finally available starting today in the U.S. from major carriers and the Google Store. If you’ve been eying this neat little phone, here are the best Pixel 9a deals from Google, AT&T, Verizon, and more.

Google announced its new Pixel 9a in March, but due to a few technical difficulties, the launch was delayed a bit. Thankfully, today, April 10th, the Pixel 9a is readily available for potential buyers. As usual, carriers everywhere are offering lucrative deals to get you to join their network, which means you can score a sweet phone at a significant discount.

While last year’s Pixel 8a felt a bit unnecessary, the new $499 Pixel 9a is pretty excellent. We came away impressed with our Pixel 9a review, saying that it proves budget phones are still worth buying. Our own Justin Duino went as far as to say that it almost makes flagship phones seem silly.

The latest Pixel has high-end cameras, great battery life, and is the most durable model yet—all for $499.

So, what does the Pixel 9a offer? Thanks to the Google Tensor G4 chipset, you’ll get flagship phone performance at half the cost. It also packs a vibrant 6.3-inch 1080p display, the latest version of Android, all of Google’s AI and Gemini goodies, and more. Other specs include a large 5,100 mAh battery, 128/256GB storage options, a 48MP main rear camera, 13MP ultrawide, and a 13MP front selfie camera.

If you’re still deciding, some of these deals might be just what you need to make the switch. For starters, if you grab the Pixel 9a from the Google Store, you’ll get a $100 store credit for future purchases with a qualifying trade-in. And while that’s not a huge deal, it’s one way to get one of the best Pixel 9a cases, a new smart speaker, or anything else from Google’s store.

Then, here are a few discounts and deals from U.S. carriers:

  • Verizon: Get the Pixel 9a free with a new myPlan Unlimited Line – Score a free Pixel from Verizon while taking advantage of its new 3-year price lock guarantee.
  • AT&T: Score the Google Pixel 9a for only $2.99 per month at AT&T, and you’ll also get $200 in bill credits, making the phone only $299. AT&T is also giving buyers a set of Pixel Buds for free.
  • T-Mobile: Like Verizon, T-Mobile is offering the Pixel 9a for free on a qualifying line or with an eligible device trade-in and will also give you the Pixel Buds for free.
  • Google Fi: Like almost everyone else, you can also get the Pixel 9a for free on Google Fi in the form of 24 monthly bill credits.

The fancy yet affordable Pixel 9a is already reasonably priced, but it’s hard to beat free. As a reminder, the Pixel 9a is available in Obsidian or Iris colors, runs the latest Android 16 release, and packs a big punch in such a small package.
